The sporting wear brand Reebok traces its origins back to 1985 when Joseph William Foster's spiked running cleats. Foster eventually formed a company J.W. Foster which became J.W. Foster And Sons, and then in the 1950s Foster's grandsons, the And Sons' sons, started Reebok as companion brand.
